Position Overview

Cars Commerce is seeking a proactive, self-motivated, and relationship-driven sales professional to join our DealerClub Sales Team as a Senior Sales Executive. This role focuses on providing outside sales and support with a primary focus on enhancing and growing DealerClub within the Cars Commerce Product suite. The ideal candidate possesses a successful background in in-store dealership leadership and wholesale automotive operations, coupled with a passion for helping dealers grow through data, technology, and high-impact solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Travel 50–75% to dealer locations to build relationships and support adoption and platform growth.
  • Drive dealer adoption and usage of the DealerClub platform and Cars Commerce product suite.
  • Own dealer retention, success, and growth for designated regions (Northeast will be the primary initial region).
  • Partner with DealerClub Business Development Representatives and DealerClub Account Managers to enhance dealer onboarding and growth.
  • Collaborate with Cars Commerce Account Executives to deliver joint value and conduct four-legged walk-ins.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on the DealerClub platform, showcasing how it delivers end-to-end solutions across the entire vehicle lifecycle to drive dealer success.
  • Act as the “Voice of the Dealer” — advocating internally for dealer needs and ensuring consistent value delivery.
  • Share in-store best practices for platform implementation and performance optimization.
  • Align post-sale processes.

  • Successful background combining in-store dealership leadership and wholesale automotive operations.

  • Proven ability to build deep relationships.
  • Understanding of the unique challenges of retail and wholesale automotive operations.

  • Ability to travel 50–75%.
