Candidates should have 7-8+ years of software sales experience with a proven track record of closing seven-figure contracts, 3+ years of management experience in a sales environment, ideally SaaS, and extensive knowledge of enterprise SaaS models and online sales. Prior experience selling licenses or subscriptions to large, complex organizations, particularly in the construction industry, is required. A perfect mix of curiosity, empathy, ambition, resilience, and optimism is also desired.
The Director of Sales will lead Trunk Tools’ Sales team to drive sales and achieve strategic objectives and quotas while fostering a culture of inclusion, accountability, and collaboration. They will support the development of the Sales team through training, manage their territory including planning and forecasting, contribute to and drive the GTM strategy, identify and qualify prospects, establish and nurture relationships with key accounts, sell to C-suite and other stakeholders, ensure a formal account engagement plan is developed, work closely with Operations to develop tools, structure and negotiate business terms, identify product improvements, and travel up to 50% of the time.
