Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Vice President of Global Business Development to lead and expand our high-performing Business/Account Development Representative (BDR) teams across North America and EMEA. This role is crucial for driving pipeline growth, market expansion, and ensuring global alignment with our business objectives. The VP will be responsible for strategy development, team performance, and mentoring regional leadership, cultivating a collaborative and results-oriented culture. By utilizing data-driven insights and cross-functional collaboration, this leader will significantly contribute to optimizing market penetration and accelerating global business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Team Building and Scaling: Build and scale high-performing Business Development (BD), Account Development (AD), and Inside Sales teams globally, focusing on key regions to drive pipeline growth and market expansion.
  • Goal Setting and Performance Evaluation: Set clear goals and expectations for global teams, regularly evaluating performance and providing constructive feedback to ensure alignment with company objectives.
  • Culture Development: Foster a collaborative and inclusive global team culture that promotes creativity, innovation, and accountability across all organizational levels.
  • Career Development: Develop and implement structured career paths for teams worldwide, partnering with enablement and regional leadership to support professional growth and retention.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing and Sales, to align global business development strategies with overall company goals and maximize market penetration.
  • Forecasting and Metrics: Oversee and maintain accurate sales forecasts and performance metrics across regions, using data-driven insights to measure progress and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Strategic Analysis: Analyze global sales data and market trends to refine strategies, optimize team performance, and recommend actionable solutions to leadership.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets for global business development initiatives, ensuring optimal resource allocation to achieve objectives.
  • Reporting: Present regular performance updates and strategic recommendations to senior management, leveraging insights to support decision-making and drive global business growth.

Education and Experience

  • 14+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role.
