Requirements

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Teams, including chat, collaboration, OneDrive, and SharePoint sites
  • Expertise in Microsoft 365 Exchange email systems, including archiving, secure email, active sync, Outlook Web Access, and email filtering
  • Experience with telecommunications equipment, networks, infrastructures, call centers, voicemail systems, cellular devices, Contact Center software, and IVR systems
  • Skills in configuring, integrating, programming, testing, installing, maintaining, monitoring, upgrading, and repairing telecommunications and email hardware, systems, and infrastructures
  • Ability to manage inventory of telecommunications and email assets, including physical inventory and tracking aging/retiring assets
  • Proficiency in overseeing backup, disaster recovery, performance monitoring, capacity planning, and implementing new technologies
  • Capability to program software changes, coordinate with vendors, and manage user/device additions and security
  • Understanding of conditional access policies, collaboration architecture design, and voice/data communications infrastructure cabling

Responsibilities

  • Research, configure, integrate, program, and test Microsoft Teams, including chat, collaboration, OneDrive, and SharePoint sites
  • Maintain the Microsoft Teams environment, including groups, conditional access policies, and designing collaboration architecture with departments
  • Install, maintain, monitor, upgrade, and repair Exchange M365 email and telecommunications equipment, hardware, systems, and infrastructures; program operating parameters; perform testing and documentation
  • Receive and process requests for new or enhanced telecommunications services, including telephone moves, adds, changes, voicemail, and related hardware/software
  • Research, configure, integrate, program, and test telecommunications equipment, networks, infrastructures, call centers, voicemail, cellular devices, Contact Center software, and IVR; coordinate installation of voice/data cabling, trunk circuits, and wiring
  • Research, configure, integrate, program, and test Exchange M365, archiving, secure email, active sync, Outlook Web Access, and email filtering; coordinate installation of email-related data communications
  • Maintain inventory of telecommunications and Exchange email assets, including physical inventory and retiring assets in tracking systems
  • Oversee development and maintenance of onsite/offsite backup and disaster recovery for telecommunications and email
  • Monitor telecommunications and email operations for performance/capacity issues; measure traffic; identify issues; develop and implement plans for new technologies/services
  • Program and implement software changes in email, telecommunications, or voicemail; coordinate hardware/software with vendors; monitor vendor orders/contracts
  • Perform system administration functions: add applications, users, devices; identify unauthorized access and security risks; participate in security enhancement projects
  • Maintain professional image, deliver friendly service, comply with regulations/policies, follow security procedures, maintain confidentiality, complete training, and work scheduled hours
