Candidates must reside in Connecticut, Massachusetts, or New Hampshire and have at least 3 years of outstanding sales performance with the ability to drive results and innovate in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. A minimum of 2 years of insurance carrier experience is required, along with an established agency network. A Property & Casualty Insurance Producer License is preferred or the ability to obtain one within three months of employment. The role requires travel up to 60% in the assigned territory and strong oral and written communication skills, negotiation abilities, value-based selling skills, and a customer-centric mindset.
The Territory Manager, also known as an Agency Success Manager, is responsible for profitable growth by maximizing sales production and strengthening relationships with new and existing agencies. This role involves collaborating with team members to execute onboarding support and account penetration, enabling rapid adoption of Openly’s product, increasing sales productivity, and maintaining account retention. Key duties include engaging with existing agent partners to enhance sales results, supporting them with marketing campaigns, creating and implementing strategies to increase new business production, and supporting Business Development Managers with larger agency appointments. The manager will also manage the assigned territory to drive profitable growth and achieve financial goals, review and analyze territory trends to identify and act on data, and collaborate with other functions at Openly to drive an industry-leading agent experience.
