Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or high school diploma/GED with several years of experience in Sales)
  • Several years of experience in Sales/Commercial/Bid (minimum 3 years in Tender/Bid roles)
  • Strong natural communication and leadership skills in Italian and English (written and oral, B2 minimum); French/Arabic preferred
  • Inclusive mindset and natural ability to work and collaborate in multi-cultural diverse teams
  • Effective problem identification and solving skills, clear thinker, and fast learner
  • Availability to travel for business when required

Responsibilities

  • Preparing proposals/bids, contract negotiation, and compliance with contract commitments and commercial risk assessment
  • Handling commercial activities on fast-paced highly complex markets
  • Coordinating sales teams involving engineering, legal, risk, finance, and any other required functions
  • Leading an assigned geographical area with medium-sized estimated orders, developing a strong understanding of customers, market dynamics, and competition
  • Actively developing and utilizing financial and non-financial analytics/metrics as needed
  • Fostering the Company core values and ethical behaviors
  • Being involved in other internal strategic activities or initiatives under the competencies of the Center of Excellence commercial team
  • Compiling and submitting required tender documentation in line with Company standards and requirements
  • Managing complex short to long-term commercial projects, proposals, and contracts including pricing and terms and conditions
