Responsibilities

  • Manage the full recruiting lifecycle for critical roles, from sourcing to closing
  • Drive outcomes by managing pipelines with urgency, ensuring no candidate is left in limbo and no hiring manager is in the dark
  • Build diverse candidate pipelines across engineering and technical roles and craft compelling outreach that communicates Valon’s mission
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers: push back when job descriptions, comp, or processes aren’t aligned with the market and bring market intelligence to inform strategy
  • Articulate Valon’s story: why complexity is our moat and how every hire contributes to transforming regulated finance
  • Obsess over candidate experience: ensure every interaction reflects Valon’s culture—precise, human, and high-trust; spot opportunities for delight with thoughtful follow-ups and personalized touches
  • Own recruiting as a system: track and report pipeline metrics, manage ATS data hygiene, and continuously refine processes for speed and quality
  • Experiment with AI-first recruiting: use AI tools to scale sourcing, outreach, and pipeline insights—always with an eye toward outcomes
  • Build for scale: draft job descriptions, refine interview loops, and create repeatable recruiting playbooks that compound over time
