Responsibilities

Manage the full recruiting lifecycle for critical roles, from sourcing to closing
Drive outcomes by managing pipelines with urgency, ensuring no candidate is left in limbo and no hiring manager is in the dark
Build diverse candidate pipelines across engineering and technical roles and craft compelling outreach that communicates Valon’s mission
Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers: push back when job descriptions, comp, or processes aren’t aligned with the market and bring market intelligence to inform strategy
Articulate Valon’s story: why complexity is our moat and how every hire contributes to transforming regulated finance
Obsess over candidate experience: ensure every interaction reflects Valon’s culture—precise, human, and high-trust; spot opportunities for delight with thoughtful follow-ups and personalized touches
Own recruiting as a system: track and report pipeline metrics, manage ATS data hygiene, and continuously refine processes for speed and quality
Experiment with AI-first recruiting: use AI tools to scale sourcing, outreach, and pipeline insights—always with an eye toward outcomes
Build for scale: draft job descriptions, refine interview loops, and create repeatable recruiting playbooks that compound over time
