Candidates should have a background in a customer-facing technical role such as Technical Account Manager, Solutions Engineer, or Success Engineer. Experience with languages like Next.js, React, JavaScript, Node.js, Go, and shadcn is required. The ability to engage with both technical and business stakeholders, debug technical workflows, read APIs/SDKs, and communicate clearly and empathetically is essential. Experience in developer tools, authentication/identity, or supporting enterprise SaaS customers at scale is a bonus.
The Technical Account Manager will serve as the primary technical partner for top accounts, ensuring smooth onboarding, integration, and adoption. They will troubleshoot technical challenges, act as a trusted advisor by sharing best practices and recommending features, and track account health metrics to proactively address risks. This role involves representing the customer's voice internally to shape the product roadmap and go-to-market strategy, as well as defining and evolving the Technical Account Management function at Clerk.
