Position Overview

Samsung SDS America is seeking a motivated Presales Solution Consultant to lead the presales efforts and drive the adoption of our innovative AI-Driven eProcurement SaaS solution, Caidentia. This role is crucial in shaping the success of our Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) solution, empowering businesses to revolutionize their procurement processes, achieve unprecedented efficiency, and foster growth. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a new global business initiative, blending the agility of a startup with the robust foundation of Samsung SDS America.

The ideal candidate possesses a strong combination of technical expertise, industry knowledge, and exceptional communication skills. You will engage with prospective clients, understand their business and technical requirements, and effectively demonstrate how Caidentia addresses their specific SRM challenges. As a technical expert, you will collaborate with partners and support the entire sales cycle, connecting technology to measurable business value and demonstrating strategic thinking across business, product, and technical domains.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor by understanding and aligning with the customer’s long-term goals.
  • Collaborate closely with customers to understand their requirements, scope projects, and conduct compelling product demonstrations.
  • Articulate technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences, including C-level executives and end-users.
  • Develop and present business solution strategies and roadmaps.
  • Complete required presales documentation, including configurations, services, proposals, and justifications.
  • Develop services scope, level of effort, and Statements of Work (SOWs) that align with customer outcomes.
  • Serve as a key liaison between Sales and Delivery teams to ensure smooth project execution and successful implementation.
  • Partner with the product team to enhance offerings based on market demands, technological advancements, and client feedback.
  • Research new solutions and develop collateral for field enablement and customer-facing use cases.
  • Engage in marketing campaigns and industry events to promote Caidentia.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • Experience:
    • 8 years of experience in technical sales or presales roles within the SCM (Supply Chain Management) or SRM (Supplier Relationship Management) space, preferably with SaaS solutions.
    • Strong background in business applications, with a preference for SCM and SRM.
    • A strong understanding of the direct procurement space is preferred.
    • In-depth knowledge of supplier management, procurement processes, and supply chain dynamics.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent customer relationship management skills.
    • Effective oral and written communication abilities.
    • Demonstrated ability to articulate complex ideas simply and understandably to both technical and non-technical audiences.
    • Outstanding problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to derive clear observations, analysis, and conclusions from customer interviews and data.
    • Proven ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.
  • Travel: Flexibility to travel up to 40% of the time.
  • Work Authorization: Eligibility to work in the US for any employer without restrictions.
