Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree and at least two years of experience in a commercially-oriented consultant, broker, or account management role within the employee benefits space, along with deep knowledge of health plan design and benefits, including experience advising employer clients on benefits strategy and cost performance.

Responsibilities

The Strategic Accounts Executive will be responsible for retaining and upselling Garner’s small and mid-market employer clients, collaborating with account managers to ensure excellent client experiences and drive plan performance. They will also become a client’s trusted strategic partner on plan design, bending cost trends, and proactively addressing strategic account risks, while monitoring client health and executing strategic plans to drive improved net revenue retention and other key performance indicators. Furthermore, the role involves establishing and managing strategic broker and client relationships, working with finance, product, data, and technology teams to deliver reports and presentations demonstrating value and ROI, and traveling up to 25% of the time.
