  • Preferred: Experience utilizing Salesforce
  • Preferred: Knowledge of the principles and practices involved in new business development, product marketing, and sales

  • Preferred: Excellent communication skills both oral and written
  • Preferred: Proficient at public speaking
  • Preferred: Experience in selling new and used Terex equipment and parts by having an understanding of customer objectives, strategies, and issues
  • Preferred: Proven ability to establish credibility and strong partnerships across the organization and with customers
  • Preferred: Thorough understanding of the utility industry and ability to offer informed perspective on the market and strategies to facilitate growth
  • Preferred: Intimate knowledge of our customer base, their buying habits, business models, and how to leverage the Terex value proposition
  • Preferred: Ability to lead, mentor and develop others
  • Preferred: Excellent computer skills particularly within Microsoft office
  • Preferred: Comfortable with operating all types of construction and industrial equipment
  • Preferred: Flexibility for occasional extended overnight trips will be necessary

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with our largest National customers and champion one of our allied products
  • Develop and support target growth customers in both utility and AWP markets
  • Develop customer business fits that will help drive sales, improve market share, and balance branch and field service workload
  • Provide pricing guidance to ensure we are quoting market competitive pricing
  • Provide forward looking perspective to help anticipate business needs and trends
  • Work closely with local branch Territory Sales Managers
  • Partner with marketing to support marketing initiatives
  • Assist with coordination of market pricing & annual purchase agreements
