Candidates must be highly motivated, results-driven, and possess experience in selling software solutions to large publicly traded and private organizations. A proven track record in full-cycle sales, including territory planning, pipeline generation, and closing deals, is essential. Experience in expanding business opportunities through cross-sell/upsell and net new business acquisition is required. The ability to develop multi-year account and territory plans, coupled with tailored strategies to position multi-pillar platform sales, is necessary. Building trusted relationships with CxOs by understanding their priorities and delivering aligned solutions is crucial. Familiarity with working alongside SDRs, Product Solutions (SEs), and Value Architects to achieve sales goals is also important. A willingness to travel up to 25%-30% for client and partner meetings, as well as events and conferences, is expected.
The Strategic Account Executive will manage and expand relationships with high-revenue clients (>$15B in revenue), focusing on both existing customers and new pursuits. This role involves executing strategic sales motions by working closely with cross-functional teams such as CS, Alliances, Product, and Engineering to align with client business needs. Responsibilities include driving growth and fostering long-term partnerships through new business and high-touch expansions (cross-sell & upsell). The executive will focus on Total Addressable ARR (TAM) and premium support, crafting and executing a solution-centric sales approach. This involves collaborating with advisory firms and key decision-makers to identify and drive impactful integrations. The role also includes identifying prospective customers' pain points, educating them on AuditBoard's value, highlighting differentiators, demonstrating the product, and guiding prospects through the sales process. Additionally, the executive will co-create solutions and business cases to enable stakeholder adoption and advocate for AuditBoard within client organizations.
