Candidates should have over 6 years of closing experience in technology sales with a proven track record of exceeding annual targets. They must possess the ability to understand complex technical concepts and translate them into a consultative sale, along with excellent communication skills for engaging stakeholders at all levels. Strong organizational skills for managing long sales cycles and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment are essential. Prior experience in analytics, ETL, BI, or open-source software is a plus, as is knowledge of dbt.
The Enterprise Sales Director will build, manage, and close their own pipeline of companies that can benefit from dbt Cloud. They will manage and deepen the dbt Cloud footprint in existing accounts, engage with technology partners and ecosystem service providers, lead and contribute to team projects to develop the sales process, and work with product to build and maintain the dbt Cloud enterprise roadmap.
