Candidates must possess at least 8 years of program management experience, with a minimum of 3 years focused on technical, reliability, or quality domains. A strong understanding of system architecture, distributed systems, and reliability engineering principles is essential, along with familiarity with SDLC models, CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, observability, and incident management tooling. Demonstrated success in defining and improving SLOs, SLIs, and production readiness processes is required, as is the proven ability to lead large-scale, cross-functional programs. Proficiency in using Atlassian tools for program tracking and reporting, along with the ability to navigate ambiguity and build alignment, are also key requirements.
The Staff Technical Program Manager will define and drive the vision for quality across proactive practices, reactive processes, and cultural expectations. They will lead cross-functional programs to improve system reliability, scalability, and operational quality, including enhancing incident response and production readiness. This includes owning the Production Readiness Review (PRR) process, defining and tracking Service Level Objectives (SLOs), streamlining incident management, scaling tooling and automation, and mitigating system risks. The role also involves driving alignment across Engineering, Product, Operations, and Go-To-Market teams, tracking progress using tools like Jira and Atlas, and embedding continuous learning from incidents and testing.
