Candidates must possess 8+ years of experience in software engineering organizations and several years of experience as a Technical Program Manager or in a comparable role driving enterprise networking, infrastructure deployment, or site reliability programs. A deep understanding of cloud, backbone, on-premises, and market-facing networking technologies is required, along with demonstrated ability to lead complex technical initiatives across multiple functions without direct authority. Strong influencing, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, deep familiarity with agile methods, roadmap planning, and program tooling (e.g., Jira, Confluence), and strong data analysis skills with comfort in metrics instrumentation, dashboarding, and KPI standardization are essential. The ability to quickly break down complex technical or organizational problems, set clear goals, and drive teams toward sustainable improvements is also necessary. Preferred qualifications include extensive hands-on experience in software engineering or comparable technical roles and experience collaborating with infrastructure vendors, managing contract and renewal cycles.
The Staff Technical Program Manager will lead strategy, planning, execution, and reporting for the Network Engineering organization, ensuring the delivery of secure, reliable, and scalable global connectivity. This role involves acting as the coordination hub for engineering workstreams across network backbone, data center operations, site engineering, and infrastructure security. Responsibilities include leading the planning, tracking, and reporting of engineering execution for a large organization, driving end-to-end program management for large-scale technical initiatives, and owning cross-functional program and initiative-level success against targets for features, cost, time, and quality. The TPM will build stakeholder alignment, coordinate dependencies with internal and external partners, manage ambiguity in program scopes, and report program progress, risks, and escalations to leadership, defining critical paths and recovery strategies.
