Requirements

Candidates must have 7 years of presales experience, including 1st line management experience in a fast-growing IT environment with software, cloud, or customer experience. A deep understanding of the US market, experience selling to senior management, and familiarity with the state and local government landscape, including its needs, challenges, and regulatory requirements, are essential. Knowledge of industry best practices in the SLG sector, value-based or solution selling, and the SaaS/PaaS market space with an understanding of Service Management practices are also required.

Responsibilities

The Sr Mgr, Solution Consulting will ensure Solution Consultants effectively discover customer problems, deliver high-quality presentations and demonstrations, and execute proofs of concept when necessary, documenting business value and ensuring customer commitment. They will develop team members, maintain a recruiting pipeline, and work with regional sales managers to prioritize Solution Consulting efforts. Responsibilities include assigning resources to sales opportunities and marketing efforts, developing and deploying team training curriculums, evaluating team members, managing day-to-day activities like resource scheduling and expense approvals, and ensuring effective utilization of skill sets within the assigned region.
