Requirements
Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Math, or a related field, or equivalent experience. They must have at least 5 years of experience in a technical support, technical account management, consulting, Sales Engineer (SE), or Professional Services role within the technology industry. Strong understanding of observability solutions, including Grafana, Prometheus, and Loki is preferred. Proven ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously is also required.
Responsibilities
The Observability Architect will serve as the primary technical point of contact for a portfolio of Grafana customers, designing their observability maturity journey and providing expert-level troubleshooting and guidance. They will conduct regular technical reviews and health checks, advise clients on best practices, collaborate on technical roadmaps, and identify opportunities to optimize cost and expand product use. The role involves developing and maintaining strong customer relationships, acting as the voice of the customer within the company, conducting training sessions, developing technical documentation, and participating in customer reviews to assess satisfaction and identify improvement areas. They will also drive the adoption of Grafana’s product suite, maximize customer value, and prepare reports on client metrics and achievements.
