Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree and demonstrate at least 5 years of experience in a therapeutic area, with a preference for Neuroscience. Strong scientific knowledge and the ability to engage with Health Care Providers (HCPs) are essential, along with a commitment to promoting BMS products in a compliant manner and exceeding sales targets.
The Sr. Therapeutic Area Specialist will promote approved indications of BMS products within a defined territory or region, creating demand for BMS medicines by articulating clinical and scientific rationale for use in appropriate patients. They will engage with and maintain a high level of scientific expertise in assigned products and therapeutic areas, preparing and implementing territory and account plans, utilizing tools like CE^3 to inform call plans, and providing feedback. This role involves spending 100% of time in the field with external customers, liaising with other BMS functions to deliver a higher Customer Experience, and prioritizing the safe and appropriate use of BMS products while focusing on business results and performance objectives.
