Job Summary

We’re seeking a strategic, hands-on Senior Director of Product Marketing to lead the vision, execution, and evolution of product marketing across 1Password’s entire portfolio. Reporting to the VP of Product and Solutions Marketing, this is a critical leadership role—and a unique opportunity to shape how a fast-growing cybersecurity company defines and communicates its value in a new and rapidly emerging category: Extended Access Management (XAM).

As the most senior leader focused on core product marketing, you’ll be responsible for positioning 1Password as the category leader in XAM and a trusted partner in secure access. You’ll develop compelling narratives, steer go-to-market strategy, and drive impact across our workforce, developer, and consumer solutions. Your work will directly influence how we engage and retain customers across multiple segments.

This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution. You’ll collaborate closely with Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Brand Marketing to bring new capabilities to market, sharpen competitive differentiation, and enable our go-to-market teams with the insights and assets they need to succeed.

You’ll also lead and mentor a high-performing team of product marketers, guiding their growth while driving 1Password’s long-term strategy around category creation, customer adoption, and market expansion.

If you're a builder, a storyteller, and a leader with deep cybersecurity expertise and a passion for turning complexity into customer value—this is your chance to help define the future of secure access.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy for all 1Password products
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between Product, Sales, and Marketing
  • Lead the charge in defining and expanding the Extended Access Management (XAM) category
  • Oversee end-to-end product launch planning and execution
  • Conduct market, customer, and competitive research to inform strategy and growth
  • Create compelling narratives tailored to IT, security leaders, and end users
  • Develop enablement content, training, and tools for Sales, CS, and Demand Gen teams
  • Represent 1Password in analyst briefings, customer meetings, and industry events
  • Manage and grow a team of high-performing product marketers

What You’ll Need

  • 12+ years in B2B SaaS product marketing, with at least 5 years in cybersecurity
  • 5+ years of experience leading and developing product marketing teams
  • Deep expertise in access, identity, and authentication solutions
  • Proven ability to shape strategy and drive execution in a high-growth environment
  • Demonstrated success in launching and scaling security products
