Requirements

Candidates should have a strong understanding of the Geotab ecosystem and possess Subject Matter Expert (SME) capabilities. The role requires the ability to educate and collaborate with channel teams, partners, and end-users to optimize their use of Geotab's technology, products, and solutions. A proven track record in technical pre-sales activities, including discovery, technical demonstrations, pilots, and Proofs of Concept (POCs), is essential. Experience partnering with Business Development as a technical lead to drive growth with large/enterprise fleets is also required.

Responsibilities

The Solutions Engineer will drive the technical success in pursuing large/strategic opportunities within specific areas of expertise, leading to increased revenue. This involves showcasing and adapting Geotab solutions for prospective customers by understanding their needs and requirements, and positioning the best solutions and product features to solve business challenges. The role includes developing tools and educational content for internal teams and partners, advancing business objectives, and ensuring strategic partners are upskilled in industry verticals. Additionally, the engineer will identify product gaps, provide alternatives or feedback to product and development teams, and leverage proserve and consultancy as needed.
