Hands-on experience in solutions commissioning, field testing, and customer-facing troubleshooting is required, as is a deep understanding of RF principles, including link budget, antenna performance, interference control, and optimization, with proficiency in relevant test equipment and validation workflows. Experience with data pipelines and API/SDK integration, along with proficiency in Python, C/C++, or JavaScript for developing sample code, tools, and data analysis resources, is essential. The role also requires adeptness in leading customer discovery, presenting solution architectures, documenting technical steps, and aligning cross-functional teams, as well as a collaborative spirit and willingness to travel 25-50% nationwide.
The Solutions Engineer will develop and deploy innovative RAIN RFID solution architectures to address critical business challenges for enterprise clients, driving successful outcomes based on insights from enterprise sales teams. They will lead structured discovery with US-based accounts, translating business objectives into actionable technical solutions and architectures. Acting as a technical trusted advisor during the sales cycle, they will conduct discovery sessions, lead product demonstrations, and address complex objections. The role involves providing end-to-end technical support to ecosystem partners, implementing best practices, and offering onsite or remote support for deployment, testing, and optimization of RFID/IoT solutions. Additionally, they will identify and relay customer requirements, feature requests, and market needs to product management and engineering, and contribute to the team's Center of Excellence by building standardized templates, contributing to shared resource libraries, and developing best practices.
