Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering and have 2-5 years of experience in engineering, technical sales, or industrial sales, specifically focusing on valves, flow control, or related instrumentation. A strong understanding of fluid dynamics, including fluids, corrosion, erosion, and materials related to valve specifications, is essential. Proficiency in CRM software, such as Dynamics 365, and excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills are also required.

Responsibilities

The Sales Engineer will act as a subject-matter expert on control valves, providing technical leadership and support to sales teams and customers. They will collaborate with sales teams to execute strategic sales plans, identify new opportunities, and participate in sales calls with key accounts. Responsibilities include building and maintaining customer relationships, delivering technical presentations and demonstrations, reviewing and validating sales quotations for accuracy, providing technical guidance for field troubleshooting, gathering market intelligence on industry trends and competitors, and conducting training seminars for sales teams and channel partners.
