Candidates should possess over 5 years of experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Solutions Engineering or Sales Engineering, demonstrating a proven ability to drive customer success. Exceptional presentation and communication skills are essential for articulating complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. A strong understanding of business processes, enterprise software, and customer challenges, with the ability to link product features to tangible business outcomes, is required. Proficiency in advising customers on technical integrations, including RESTful APIs and common enterprise technologies, is also necessary. Familiarity with various industry knowledge and regulated business processes is beneficial.
The Solutions Engineer will become a product expert to address customer issues, engage with customers to understand their business needs and challenges, and translate these into compelling solutions. They will establish trusting relationships with key stakeholders in IT, Procurement, Security, Legal, and Compliance. Responsibilities include delivering persuasive product demonstrations, guiding customer onboarding, driving product adoption, and identifying expansion opportunities. The role involves serving as a technical advisor to account teams, overseeing post-sale onboarding, driving select implementations, and ensuring smooth handoffs to other teams. Collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success is crucial for providing customer feedback and contributing to product improvement. Additionally, the Solutions Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional partners to respond to RFPs and security questionnaires, advise Product Marketing on technical buyer messaging, and contribute to developing new processes and best practices.
