Requirements

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience. Excellent coding skills and technical acumen are necessary, along with superb problem-solving skills and the ability to understand both the product and business aspects of development. Strong production software experience and experience building and owning features end-to-end are required. Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders are essential, as well as a passion for handling ambiguity and learning new technologies. An entrepreneurial mindset and a desire for impact are also important.

Responsibilities

The Forward Deployed Software Engineer will be the primary technical owner for Privy's customers, working directly with them to understand their technical and operational objectives, scope requirements, and propose software solutions. They will design, code, and launch features that enhance Privy’s core product using tools like Typescript, React, and NextJS, while fully owning end-to-end development. The role involves driving product deployments, including configuration, testing, and troubleshooting, and championing customer success by prioritizing feedback and pain points. Additionally, the engineer will dive into customer codebases to identify usage friction points and opportunities for improvement, and partner with internal stakeholders to align product roadmap and strategy with customer needs.
