Candidates must have 2-4 years of equivalent work experience in waste disposal, chemistry, or a related field providing technical expertise, with a strong understanding of RCRA Laws and Regulations related to waste characterization principles and practices, including analysis and evaluation, waste processing protocols, and transportation (DOT) regulations and industry best practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, DocuSign, and PDF writer, along with excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills are essential. A commitment to customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are also required.
The Technical Service Advisor will provide high-level technical waste disposal support to sales, operations, and customers, assisting in the development of bid materials and coordinating processes for waste acceptance and disposal. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot technical issues, engage proactively with clients to understand technical requirements and deliver customized solutions, and meet with clients to discuss waste management solutions, analyze data, and compile reports. The role involves investigating hazardous waste regulations, aiding in waste classification, evaluating treatment options, complying with transportation guidelines, and working closely with the sales department to ensure quality and regulatory standards are met.
