EA-State and Local Account Executive

Candidates should have over 10 years of experience, proven success in a customer-facing sales role proposing enterprise solutions, and demonstrated selling ability to State and Local Governments and Educational Institutions. A Bachelor's degree in Business or related field, or equivalent experience, is required, along with proficiency in Salesforce.com CRM, Microsoft Office (Excel), and other CRM tools. Experience collaborating with customers and technology partners, comfort working with multiple decision-makers, outstanding communication skills, self-motivation, and the ability to travel are also necessary. Proven experience negotiating, proposing, and closing contracts is essential.
The Account Executive will implement sales strategies to drive business growth and exceed revenue targets, developing and leading the sales pipeline for strategic transactions. They will collaborate with channel partners to sell the Cohesity solution and generate revenue, proactively prospecting and penetrating accounts to reach decision-makers and close business. The role involves developing and implementing sales strategies for the assigned region, building a compelling case for the Cohesity solution, and driving account strategies while coordinating team selling efforts with partners.
