The ability to understand business requirements and value models, articulate value propositions, and work cross-functionally is required. Experience selling high-value, long lead-time enterprise solutions software ($500K and above), excellent new business development skills, a consistent sales quota attainment track record, and a resourceful, proactive approach are necessary. Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and organizational skills, along with proficiency as a networker and comfort interacting with senior government executives, are crucial. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related area is also required, with approximately 50% regional travel expected.
The Enterprise Sales Account Director will run an enterprise sales territory focused on state and local government customers, developing target named account strategies and tactical penetration plans. They will build and maintain relationships at the C and VP levels within these accounts, creating compelling value propositions based on ROI and cost-benefit analysis.
