Candidates should possess 7+ years of experience in a customer-facing sales role, demonstrating success in proposing enterprise solutions at all levels of an organization. Proven success in selling to State and Local Governments and Educational Institutions is highly desirable, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent experience. Proficiency with Salesforce.com CRM, Microsoft Office (particularly Excel), and other CRM tools is required, as well as comfort working with multiple decision-makers and negotiating contracts.
As an Account Executive, you will develop and manage a sales pipeline to drive transactions through the sales process, generate revenue by selling the Cohesity solution and collaborating with Channel Partners, and consistently penetrate accounts to reach decision-makers and close business. You will define and implement sales plans for your territory to meet and exceed quota, develop and present proposals showcasing the Cohesity solution’s value, and drive account strategies while coordinating team selling efforts with partners to close business on a quarterly and annual basis.
