Candidates should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, a deep understanding of developer workflows and build systems, including CI/CD environments such as GitHub Actions, GitLab, Circle CI, Jenkins, and Buildkite, and SCM environments such as Git, SVN, and Perforce. Familiarity with Web Application Security concepts, including OWASP Top 10, and a basic understanding of APIs and Webhooks are also required.
The Senior Technical Support Engineer will be responsible for remotely engaging with customers to analyze, reproduce, and resolve technical problems, managing support tickets, owning customer questions from creation to resolution, and contributing to building a best-in-class technical support function by creating documentation, knowledge base articles, and potentially blogs or integrations. They will also participate in on-call duties and lead improvements to support operations to help Semgrep grow as a business.
