Requirements

Candidates should have at least 4 years of product experience or relevant work in technical support, development, or a consultancy environment within the healthcare industry. A strong understanding of Healthcare Costing, experience with the Axiom Financial/Decision Support application, proficient knowledge of Microsoft technologies (especially Excel), and working knowledge of SQL are required. Experience in technical issue resolution, escalation procedures, and managing multiple projects with competing priorities is also necessary. Familiarity with case management tools like Salesforce and data visualization tools such as Tableau are considered a plus.

Responsibilities

The Principal Application & Technical Support Specialist will provide technical guidance and support for the Axiom product, troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues independently. This role involves leading root cause analysis, serving as an escalation point for client issues, guiding team members, and managing individual and team case backlogs. Responsibilities include updating customer records, documenting interactions, developing and delivering training sessions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve product support and reliability, and ensuring secure handling of PHI data in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Additionally, the specialist will mentor junior staff, guiding them in customer management and case work to foster knowledge leadership within the team.
