Position Overview

Airtable is seeking a Developer Support Engineer (DSE) to join our Developer Support Engineering team. This team is the primary point of contact for resolving complex technical support cases related to Airtable's APIs, integrations, enterprise workflows, and admin tooling. This role offers a strong entry point into advanced technical support with opportunities for specialization and career growth.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate and resolve developer- and admin-related support cases involving Airtable’s scripting, automation, API, OAuth/SSO, and third-party integrations.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to triage high-complexity cases and develop solutions for ambiguous technical issues.
  • Contribute to and maintain internal documentation, debugging guides, and reusable support content.
  • Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Success teams to escalate bugs, report user pain points, and advocate for product improvements.
  • Identify and suggest improvements for triage workflows and internal tools.
  • Participate in developer community channels and forums to understand user challenges and provide guidance.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience in advanced technical support, developer relations, or a similar customer-facing role involving platform technologies.
  • Proficiency with JavaScript, REST APIs, OAuth flows, and JSON, including experience troubleshooting and debugging workflows using these technologies.
  • Eagerness to develop expertise in enterprise admin tooling (e.g., SSO, SCIM, Enterprise Hub) and developer surfaces (e.g., scripting, automations).
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical topics for diverse audiences.
  • Curiosity, coachability, and a desire to learn from others and tackle challenging cases.
  • Proactive approach to identifying and improving documentation, internal processes, or tooling.

Shift Details

  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM PST.
  • Purpose: This schedule provides extended real-time coverage for technical issues into late PST hours and supports customers in the ANZ region during their business day.
