Requirements

Candidates must possess 7-10+ years of experience in technical support or systems engineering, with deep proficiency in Linux and a solid understanding of distributed systems and high-availability environments. Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases and familiarity with hybrid and cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS, are required. Excellent problem-solving, diagnostic, written, and verbal communication skills are essential. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience, is necessary. Previous experience in enterprise software technical support and exposure to Kubernetes, Docker, or AWS certification are considered advantageous.

Responsibilities

The Senior Support Engineer will investigate, diagnose, and resolve complex customer issues with the Aerospike Real-time Data Platform across various environments. They will collaborate with Engineering to address complex problems and contribute to product improvements, participate in real-time customer remediation and incident resolution, and act as a customer advocate. Responsibilities also include supporting enterprise customers with mission-critical systems, assisting with deployments, configuration guidance, and performance tuning, and writing high-quality documentation and Knowledge Base articles.
