Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, and have at least 5 years of experience in a support engineering role, with a strong understanding of software development and troubleshooting techniques. Experience with complex technical issues and customer communication is essential, along with familiarity with cloud environments and DevOps practices.
As a Senior Support Engineer, you will be responsible for resolving technical issues reported by customers, providing guidance and support to help them effectively utilize Sourcegraph, and contributing to improving the product and documentation. You will also collaborate with the product team to identify and address customer needs, and proactively work with customers to understand their workflows and suggest improvements. Additionally, you will observe trends in customer issues and propose remedies, and contribute to team onboarding and ongoing enablement to enhance the customer experience.
