Requirements

A Master's degree in social work, marriage family therapy, or counseling from an accredited college or university is required. Candidates must hold a license as a Clinical Psychologist, LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC. One or more years of related professional experience working with children with autism spectrum disorders and/or other related developmental disabilities in a multi-disciplinary team setting is preferred. Familiarity with Care Path and BHT services provided by Catalight Care Services is also required.

Responsibilities

The Clinical Escalation Specialist will monitor, track, and respond to formal complaints and grievances, acting as a liaison between clients, departments, and resources to coordinate responses to funders regarding client escalations. They will oversee the escalation process, conduct investigative reviews and case reviews, compose internal and external communications, and propose solutions to customer problems while preventing further escalations to management. The specialist will also maintain a caseload, provide case management services to escalated clients, assess risk, and escalate high-risk clinical concerns to supervisors as needed. Additionally, they will coordinate with the Clinical Care Team to ensure suitable BHT services, follow care plans, and complete documentation regarding all interactions in a timely manner.
