Requirements

Candidates should possess outstanding presenting skills to both technical and executive audiences, with experience in impromptu whiteboarding, presentations, and demos. A broad range of experience within large-scale Database and/or Data Warehouse technology, ETL, analytics, and cloud technologies is required, along with hands-on expertise with SQL and SQL analytics. A University degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

The Solution Engineer will work directly with the sales team and channel partners to understand customer needs, strategize on winning sales cycles, provide value-based demonstrations, and support enterprise Proof of Concepts. Responsibilities include presenting Snowflake technology and vision to executives and technical contributors, immersing in the industry to understand competitive and complementary technologies, and collaborating with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to improve Snowflake’s products and marketing.
