Requirements

Candidates should possess 6-10 years of full-time Data Analysis and/or Software Development experience, with a degree in Computer Science or a related discipline. Required skills include experience with an end-to-end reporting and analytics technology stack, DataBricks/Spark processing, relational and non-relational databases, orchestrating data pipelines with tools like Airflow, open-source web frameworks, performance implications and scalability of code, Amazon Web Services (IAM, Cognito, EC2, S3, RDS, Cloud Formation), messaging paradigms and serverless technologies (Lambda, SQS, SNS, SES), server-less applications on public clouds, and maintaining large, complex codebases.

Responsibilities

The Staff Data Engineer will implement data integrations across the organization and with business applications, develop and maintain data-oriented web applications with scalable web services, and participate in the design and development of projects. This role involves utilizing agile software development lifecycle and DevOps principles, acting as a data steward to uphold quality and availability standards, and owning project execution from inception to delivery. Additionally, the engineer will provide mentorship to team members, including pair programming and skills development, and participate in data design and architecture discussions within the GoodLeap ecosystem.
