Candidates must have 5-7+ years of experience in sales training or enablement, with a proven ability to improve sales team performance. A deep expertise in MEDDPICC, including training, coaching, and implementing the framework, is required. Strong knowledge of sales cycles and skills such as discovery, objection handling, presenting, negotiation, and closing is essential. The role demands proven ability to engage and inspire sellers through interactive facilitation and impactful coaching, experience creating blended learning paths, and the ability to influence and build trust with both frontline sellers and senior leadership. A data-driven mindset linking training to measurable business outcomes and demonstrated knowledge of human behavior, adult learning theory, and effective learning and development principles are necessary. Excellent communication skills, including writing, speaking, and active listening, are also required. A MEDDPICC Certification is considered a plus. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the USA, with remote work considered for those in the Eastern and Central Time Zones.
The Senior Sales Trainer will research, develop, facilitate, and evaluate high-value training programs focused on MEDDPICC and core sales skills like discovery, objection handling, negotiation, executive presence, and storytelling. They will build reinforcement programs, roleplays, and certification paths to ensure lasting skill adoption and mastery. Responsibilities include coaching sellers and managers on MEDDPICC rigor and broader sales capabilities, conducting needs assessments to identify skill gaps, and aligning training programs with revenue priorities. The trainer will develop and deliver blended learning experiences for global teams, track training effectiveness using KPIs, and create practical exercises and supporting materials for real-world application. They will partner with Sales Leadership to drive MEDDPICC adoption and ensure consistent qualification and forecasting, and collaborate with various stakeholders to adapt content and maximize effectiveness. The role also involves serving as a trusted advisor for continuous improvement in sales skills, processes, and training practices.
