Requirements

Candidates should possess 7+ years of experience in cooperating with customers and technology partners, and experience selling Enterprise Hardware or Software, Cloud Platforms, IaaS, PaaS, or Virtual Infrastructure software. Excellent presentation skills, both technical and business, to small and large groups are required, along with outstanding written and verbal communication skills. A consistent track record of building strong internal relationships and working cross-organizationally is essential. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, a self-starter, comfortable working remotely and autonomously, and willing to travel within the prescribed territory. A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, a related field, or equivalent experience is also required.

Responsibilities

The Senior Manager, Sales Engineering will lead a team in the Ohio Valley and Midwest territory, assisting with complex customer opportunities. They will mentor and develop team members, provide expert sales and technical assistance by articulating Cohesity technology, and enable customers to integrate Cohesity products. Responsibilities include responding to customer and partner requests, driving secondary storage technology strategy, communicating Cohesity's vision through demonstrations and proposals, and guiding the team in implementing proof of concepts. The role also involves collaborating with product management to convey customer requirements and potentially providing project management and post-sales technical support.
