Requirements

Candidates should have 8+ years of experience in DEI, Learning & Development, organizational development, or talent strategy. Proven leadership in DEI strategy design and implementation is required, along with expertise in learning program design, instructional methodologies, and leadership development. Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, particularly in mission-driven, global organizations, are essential. Experience coaching and managing multicultural teams, the ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on program execution, and familiarity with learning technology platforms and data-driven impact measurement are necessary. Strong communication skills in English are required, and a commitment to Wikimedia's values and the free knowledge movement is important. The ability and willingness to travel are also required.

Responsibilities

The Senior Manager will define and execute the People Growth & Belonging strategy, aligning with Wikimedia’s mission and organizational priorities. They will lead, mentor, and develop a part of the PGB team, foster collaboration, and oversee the Engagement & Inclusion Survey. The role involves driving evidence-based DEI strategy, overseeing key initiatives like constructive dialogue spaces and global inclusion efforts, and supporting Employee Resource Groups. Additionally, the manager will champion inclusive leadership development, oversee L&D programs, and collaborate with various HR functions to embed DEI and L&D principles. They will develop methods to assess initiative impact and act as a strategic advisor to the VP, People Growth & Belonging.
