Requirements

  • 10-12 years’ experience in functions like business development, licensing, marketing, project management from reputed healthcare companies / consulting firm (Pharma consulting experience beneficial but not primary)
  • Good understanding of pharmaceutical business / new product landscape in pharma (new molecules, combinations and NDDS)
  • Good understanding of Pharma regulation, key suppliers and capabilities
  • Sharp analytical skills, ability to frame problems independently
  • Dealing with ambiguity and multiple issues
  • Maturity and ability to act as a thought partner and build strong relations with senior business heads
  • Networking and orientation towards customer management
  • Ability to handle complex and diverse business situations
  • Essential qualifications: B Pharm / M Pharm and MBA

Responsibilities

  • Distilling insights and synthesizing analysis output into clear recommendation for business heads and senior management on new products
  • Provide inputs to identify new molecules, differentiation to existing products and define strategy of new products
  • Managing complete launch process as project through global system
  • Ensuring timely delivery of product and monitoring compliance
  • Scout of new partner to bring differentiation and manage relationships with the existing for building future pipeline
  • Partner with business and medical teams in defining the new product pipeline for the various therapy areas which the company is in (New molecules and combinations, NDDS (existing brands and existing molecules/combinations), Value engineering (e.g, packaging changes, cost reductions))
  • Contribute to the internal I&D efforts of the company related to bringing differentiation in existing and new products through platforms technology
  • Conduct analysis to remain abreast of market trends, identify gap areas and competitor moves in terms of new products
