Requirements

Candidates should possess at least 7 years of product management experience, with significant experience in leading platform or infrastructure-oriented product work, and a minimum of 3 years in a senior leadership or people management role. Proven success in launching new products and building scalable platform capabilities is required, along with experience in regulated industries like healthtech, fintech, or insurtech. Exceptional collaboration and communication skills, a deep understanding of Agile development methodologies and cross-functional delivery best practices, and strong analytical and strategic thinking skills are essential. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is necessary, with extra credit for experience building configurable, reusable platform components and familiarity with ICHRA, ACA, or consumer-directed health benefits.

Responsibilities

The Director of Product Management will lead the strategy and roadmap for new product development and shared platform capabilities, manage and grow a team of Product Managers and Product Owners, and drive cross-functional delivery by partnering with Engineering, Operations, Legal, Compliance, Sales, and Customer Experience. They will ensure platforms are designed for scale, extensibility, security, compliance, and operational efficiency, establish KPIs for product and platform performance, and own the full product lifecycle from ideation to post-launch refinement. Gravie

Health benefits and insurance solutions provider

About Gravie

Gravie provides health benefits by offering straightforward and affordable health plans, primarily targeting individuals and small to midsize businesses. Their main product, Comfort, stands out because it has no deductible and no copays for most common healthcare services, allowing members to access care without unexpected costs. Additionally, Comfort includes virtual care options for musculoskeletal and mental health issues. Gravie also offers a payment solution called Gravie Pay, which enables members to pay for healthcare expenses interest-free, further easing financial stress. Unlike traditional health plans, Gravie claims that Comfort members save on out-of-pocket costs, and employers switching to Gravie often see lower premium expenses. The company has a high retention rate, indicating that many employees choose to continue with the Comfort plan in subsequent years. Gravie's goal is to simplify health benefits and reduce the financial burden of healthcare for its members.
