Position Overview

As a Senior Field Business Development Representative (BDR) at Feathr, you’ll be at the forefront of our mission to empower nonprofits to reshape how they nurture and engage their communities. Your role is pivotal in initiating meaningful conversations with prospects, understanding their unique challenges, and introducing them to Feathr’s Marketing Platform.


Responsibilities

  • Generate new business opportunities for our sales team with target accounts through conference and event connections.
  • Travel at least once a quarter, potentially up to once or twice a month, to attend events.
  • Create meaningful connections that result in sales opportunities through targeted efforts before, during, and after each event.
  • Engage prospects effectively.
  • Provide mentorship and be willing to seek and take advice while applying it in real time.

Requirements

  • Experience:
    • 2+ years of experience in a quota-carrying Business Development or sales role where you consistently hit or exceeded performance targets.
    • Experience using tools like Salesloft, Outreach.io, or similar tools for sales touchpoints.
    • Direct experience engaging both cold prospects and marketing-generated prospects.
    • Previous trade show or conference exhibitor experience with effective lead generation and conversion.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $60,000 annually
  • Y1 OTE: $75,000 - $90,000 + uncapped commissions (dependent on experience)
