Position Overview

Doppel is seeking an experienced and visionary Sr. Director of Corporate Marketing to lead our brand, comms, content, and social media strategy. This role is crucial for taking Doppel to the next level on our journey from $10 to $100M ARR. You will be responsible for defining, developing, and executing a compelling corporate marketing program that elevates Doppel's brand presence, drives thought leadership, engages target audiences, and supports our aggressive growth targets.

The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of the cybersecurity industry, exceptional storytelling abilities, and a proven track record of building and managing high-performing content and creative teams. You will be instrumental in shaping how Doppel communicates our value and expertise across all channels. This role reports to the SVP of Marketing.

Key Responsibilities

Content Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and implement a holistic content marketing strategy aligned with Doppel's business goals, marketing objectives, and sales funnel stages.
  • Oversee the creation of high-quality, engaging, and technically accurate content, including:
    • Whitepapers
    • E-books
    • Blog posts
    • Case studies
    • Videos
    • And more.
  • Ensure all content is optimized for SEO, brand voice, and target audience.

Brand Management

  • Evolve and own Doppel's visual brand identity and establish tone of voice.
  • Oversee the design and production of marketing collateral, social media graphics, and video content.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials and touchpoints.
  • Monitor brand perception and develop strategies to enhance brand reputation and recognition within the cybersecurity market.

Creative Direction

  • Lead the creative vision for all marketing assets, ensuring visual appeal, innovation, and alignment with brand guidelines.
  • Manage external creative agencies and freelancers as needed.

Social Media Strategy

  • Develop and execute a robust social media strategy to increase brand awareness, drive engagement, and generate leads across relevant platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.).
  • Monitor social media trends, analyze performance metrics, and adapt strategies for optimal impact.
  • Manage community engagement and online reputation.

External Communications

  • Lead our external PR efforts to drive quality coverage about Doppel in top-tier media.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and our external PR agency to craft compelling narratives and announcements demonstrating Doppel’s technical innovation, thought leadership, and business momentum.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of content creators, copywriters, designers, and social media specialists.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative environment, encouraging continuous learning and professional growth.
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively to maximize content impact.

Performance Measurement & Optimization

  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for all content, brand, creative, and social media initiatives.
  • Regularly analyze performance data, generate insights, and iterate on strategies to improve effectiveness and ROI.
  • Present reports and recommendations to senior leadership.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with Product Marketing, Product Management, Sales, and Engineering teams to ensure content accuracy, relevance, and alignment with product launches and market needs.
  • Partner with PR and analyst relations to amplify key messages and secure media coverage.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 12+ years of progressive experience in content marketing, brand management, creative direction, and social media, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience working within the cybersecurity or B2B SaaS technology industry.
  • Deep understanding of cybersecurity concepts, trends, and challenges is preferred.
