Candidates should possess 10+ years of experience working in operationally intensive industries, particularly on mission-critical EPC projects with budgets exceeding $250M (such as hyperscale data centers or semiconductor fabs). Familiarity with scheduling and cost-control tools is required, along with a deep understanding of medium-voltage gear, UPS, switchgear, and high-density GPU loads. A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or an MBA, is preferred.
The Senior Business Operations Manager will run the critical path by identifying and driving mission-critical meetings, deadlines, and initiatives, and will create weekly reporting to provide a one-pager to senior leadership. They will codify how Crusoe builds by authoring playbooks, RACI/RAPID matrices, and turnover packages to ensure consistent execution across new campuses. The role involves acting as a budget and change-order sheriff, partnering with Finance to manage scope creep and maintain variance below 5%. Additionally, the manager will build the organization by diagnosing talent gaps, architecting the org chart, hiring, and coaching high-leverage operators, and serving as a safety and compliance champion to ensure standards and obligations are integrated into daily work plans.
