Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent experience, along with at least 4 years of experience operating or automating complex systems. Proficiency in Python, Julia, or another high-level scripting language is required, as are strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make critical decisions under pressure and work independently or collaboratively.
The Mission Operations Engineer will execute satellite operation procedures, monitor and troubleshoot anomalies, and implement corrective actions to ensure optimal satellite performance and longevity. Responsibilities include designing and implementing automation solutions for satellite monitoring and health, flawlessly executing simultaneous missions, analyzing telemetry data, planning satellite maneuvers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams for new satellite integration.
