Proven ability to consistently exceed SDR/BDR performance targets and a track record of generating pipeline and contributing to revenue growth are essential. Experience mentoring or supporting peers in a sales environment, with prior leadership responsibilities preferred, is also required. Proficiency with CRM and sales engagement tools such as Salesforce, Outreach, Cognism, and Sales Navigator is necessary. Strong communication, coaching, and leadership skills are vital, as is the ability to balance personal quota-carrying responsibilities with team leadership. Candidates should be organized, data-driven, possess strong time management skills, and be comfortable giving and receiving feedback. A collaborative mindset with a passion for building high-performance teams is also a key requirement.
The SDR Team Lead will drive outbound pipeline as an individual contributor by identifying and researching target accounts, executing outbound prospecting via phone, email, and LinkedIn, and engaging prospects to uncover challenges and align Deputy's solutions. They will stay informed on industry trends, qualify leads against defined criteria, and consistently meet and exceed individual activity, meeting, and pipeline targets. In their team leadership capacity, they will coach and mentor SDRs to develop skills in prospecting, objection handling, and qualification, fostering an environment of creativity to test and implement effective outbound strategies. The role involves driving team performance to meet and exceed KPIs and pipeline contribution goals, monitoring daily activities, and providing regular feedback and development plans. Collaboration with Sales and Marketing leadership to refine targeting, messaging, and campaign strategies, and partnering with Revenue Operations and Sales Leadership to optimize the sales process are also key responsibilities. Reporting on team performance metrics and pipeline outcomes, and supporting the hiring, onboarding, and training of new SDRs are also part of the role.
