Requirements

  • 5+ years of sales experience, including at least 2 years in an outbound top-of-funnel role and/or managing, mentoring, or coaching SDR/BDR teams
  • 2+ years selling into SMB markets, ideally within dentistry or other competitive industries
  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding pipeline and meeting targets, either as a team leader or as a top-performing individual contributor ready to step into leadership
  • Strong leadership, mentorship, and coaching skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and hold SDRs accountable
  • Experience participating in, designing, and executing outbound sales development strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with team members, cross-functional partners, and prospects
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to use metrics to guide performance, identify opportunities, and iterate on process
  • Proficiency with CRM and sales engagement tools
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, technical, mission-driven environment
  • Must work in-person from our Lehi, Utah office

Responsibilities

  • Monthly Quotas: Hit, beat, and raise quarterly targets
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales development team. Set clear goals and targets, provide guidance and support, and foster a collaborative and motivated sales development culture
  • Sales Strategy & Playbook: Develop comprehensive sales development strategies aligned with company objectives, market trends, and customer needs. Identify target markets, segments, and key accounts. Define positioning and competitive differentiation strategies to drive top of funnel
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, dental professionals, and dental organizations. Understand customer pain points, requirements, and feedback to refine product offerings and enhance customer satisfaction
  • Market Intelligence: Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities. Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities, potential partnerships, and emerging customer needs. Leverage insights to shape sales strategies
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, marketing, and customer success, to align sales efforts with overall company objectives. Provide feedback and input to internal stakeholders regarding customer requirements, competitive positioning, and market trends
  • Sales Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely sales forecasts, reports, and presentations for senior management. Communicate sales performance, pipeline status, and key insights to support strategic decision-making
