High school degree/GED required; Bachelor's degree in business, communications, or psychology preferred
3+ years of related experience preferred
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office preferred
Experience in Salesforce (CRM) preferred

Responsibilities

Research and respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, fax, or other correspondence
Provide pricing on products over the phone and negotiate pricing within account manager’s threshold
Discuss and educate customers on BEACON SAAS & Invoicing practices (Cellular, fixed, mobile solutions, etc.) with prospective and new customers
Achieve and maintain a deep technical understanding of the product line, its functionality, selling points, capabilities, applicability to different customer applications, and distribution operations
Work with branch manager to maintain accurate minimum balance levels for inventory in distribution warehouses
Communicate with branch managers when customer specifications change or projects end to avoid excess inventory
Work with other distribution branches to sell returned product within their territory when specifications allow and provide customer service with account specifications to expedite quotes/orders
Navigate on-hand inventory reports to sell inventory that can get “lost” in the system
Understand warehouse processes and help pack and ship orders for end of month/quarter if needed
Serve as the main point of contact for customers, account managers, and field support specialists for account issues, providing quick solutions with a cradle-to-grave ownership approach
Review bids, quotes, and orders to ensure accurate processing, minimize errors, and assist in updating bids with correct account maintenance in Salesforce
Provide feedback to branch manager on issues and opportunities to reduce redundancy and improve accuracy internally and externally
