Ability to create and develop business relationships with current and potential customers and key accounts
Capability to grow customer contact network at all required levels and disciplines and strengthen relationships
Skills to develop and implement specific sales strategies, account growth plans, and regional sales plans to meet and exceed budget
Experience in setting and delivering growth targets (volume, revenue, margin, milestones), monitoring progress, forecasting, and communicating deviations
Knowledge to ensure products and technologies are understood by customers, solving business and technical issues
Ability to work closely with Production, Technology, Marketing, Customer Service, and Supply Chain to align goals and provide solutions
Proficiency in representing the company on products and technologies, including negotiating pricing within guidelines
Competence in ensuring contribution margin and operating profit results are achieved
Skills in providing analyses and recommendations on performance to maximize sales, margin, and profit
Ability to analyze, report, and present market, competition, technology, customer insights, and business intelligence
Experience in properly recording customer information, meetings, and agreements in agreed formats and systems
Expertise in selecting and managing distributors according to global framework and guidelines
Ability to establish growth targets and sales plans with distributors and ensure objectives are met
Skills to ensure distributors understand products/technologies and promote/sell according to company interests
Capability to maintain good relationships with multiple contacts within distributors’ organizations
Proficiency in aligning other employees and functions with distributor management
Experience in measuring distributor performance using scorecards
Ability to report on progress, communicate deviations/setbacks, and propose recovery plans
Competence in developing a robust list of new business opportunities (NBOs) for direct accounts
Skills in following up on new leads timely
Ability to assess, clarify, and validate customer needs ongoing
Experience in identifying and developing NBOs at existing and new customers
Proficiency in obtaining and evaluating feedback on samples and technologies regularly
Capability to uncover and quantify growth opportunities (and risks) for profitable growth

Responsibilities
