Candidates should have demonstrable success in a customer-facing pre-sales role proposing enterprise solutions, experience leveraging AI tools for productivity enhancement, and experience working with clients and technology partners. Experience in selling and implementing Enterprise Hardware or Software, Cloud Platforms, IaaS, PaaS, or Virtual Infrastructure software is required, along with comfort engaging multiple decision-makers. Exceptional presentation, written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills are essential. The role requires a self-motivated and self-starting individual capable of remote and autonomous work, with a willingness to travel. A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience, is necessary.
The Sales Engineer will uncover and drive new customer opportunities by providing sales and technical assistance, articulating Cohesity technology to business and technical users. They will enable customers to seamlessly integrate Cohesity products into their production environments, assist in responding to customer and partner requests for information and proposals, and manage secondary storage technology strategy for major customers. Responsibilities include communicating Cohesity's vision through demonstrations, workshops, white papers, and proposals, completing proof of concepts, and identifying and resolving technical issues. The Sales Engineer will collaborate with product management to provide field insights and customer requirements, and offer project management and post-sales technical support.
